Luca Gelsomino

Luca Gelsomino is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen and the Academic Director of the SCF Community. In this role, he oversees the Community’s research projects, international network and publication strategy.

His teaching interests include supply chain management, financial analysis and Supply Chain Finance. He holds a Ph.D. with merit from the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano (Italy), on the topic of measuring the financial performance of supply chains. While working for the School of Management, he directed the School’s permanent research program on Supply Chain Finance. His research focuses on the relationship between physical and financial supply chains.

Rudolf Leuschner

Rudolf Leuschner is a tenured associate professor in the department of Supply Chain Management, the Director of the Master of Supply Chain Management Program and the Faculty Coordinator of the Online and Distance Learning Initiative at Rutgers Business School. In addition, he developed the Supply Chain Management specialization on Coursera. His primary research focuses on the end-to-end supply chain and the integration of its three primary flows: product, information and financial. Specifically, in the new field of Supply Chain Finance, he has recently been active in developing relevant insights for academic and practitioner audiences.

Dale Rogers

Dale Rogers is a Professor of Business at the Arizona State University for over 13 years. He has previously worked at Rutgers Business school as the Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Prof. Dr. Rogers has worked as a researcher for over 30 years in the fields of logistics and supply chain management and is vastly experienced in the field. He serves on the US Board of the SCF Community.

Leonardo DeCandia

Leonardo is an award-winning Supply Chain/Procurement Executive with 40+ years of experience (25 years at the CSO/CPO level) at global pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare companies Johnson & Johnson, Estee Lauder, AmerisourceBergen and Roche. A subject matter expert in engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain management. Leonardo is a pioneer and a transformational leader with a stellar record through building high-performing teams in driving value and bottom-line impact achieved with advanced strategic practices in innovation sourcing, digital transformation, supplier and customer relationship management, corporate social responsibility and organizational productivity.

John Impellizzeri

Professor John Impellizzeri retired (Jan. 2015) from a 36-year career in industry where he established himself as a C-suite executive with a reputation as an innovative strategist, effective communicator, and dynamic leader with a strong commitment to excellence. During Impellizzeri’s corporate career, he was CFO, CPO, and VP at Schindler Elevator. He had a proven track record of coordinating complex business details, overseeing multiple functional areas simultaneously, and building consensus among decision-makers and stakeholders in defining strategic initiatives and driving results.

As a supply chain executive, Impellizzeri had considerable experience in the planning, development, and leadership of processes, policies, procedures, operations, and technologies fulfilling changing business requirements, emphasizing introduction of best practices to optimize resource utilization, promote business growth, manage supplier relationships, and deliver consistently superior levels of efficiency and cost-savings.

Alfredo Hernández

Alfredo Hernandez is a seasoned Procurement Project Manager with over a decade of experience in the manufacturing and industrial automation markets, having contributed to multinational corporations such as 3M, ABB, and Honeywell. He holds an MBA in Finance and has an extensive array of certifications in supply chain, procurement systems, and sourcing. Alfredo’s proficiency is particularly evident in digital transformations, as seen in his instrumental role in rolling out Honeywell’s SAP Ariba Network. Numerous projects under his guidance showcase his unwavering commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

George Shapiro

George Shapiro is an accomplished International Financial Executive with an impressive career spanning over 30 years in the financial industry. Currently serving as the Executive Chairman of The Interface Financial Group, his extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of financial specialties. These include venture financing, strategic alliances and joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, capital markets, and asset and portfolio management.

Erwin Hermans

Erwin is a Senior Supply Chain Executive with over 25 years of supply chain operations, consulting and services experience in key functional areas of supply chain across the Hi-Tech, Industrial, Consumer Products and Pharmaceutical industries. Currently, he serves as Chief Operating Officer at Givafifth.

Manish Airen

Manish works as Vice President, Management Consulting at Spinnaker SCA. Spinnaker SCA is a leading supply chain services firm providing End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy, Planning, and Execution Consulting services.

Joe Sinard

Joe has worked at Oracle for over 6 years, and has 11 years in the technology space as a consultant, sales professional, and recently as a Sales director.

Antony Zeng

Antony has been with Premium Technology since 2017 and is currently working as SVP of Business Development. He manages the client and partner relationships with a focus on the North America and European Region.
