Open Webinar: SCF Governance and Corporate disclosure

The March 2021 Greensill saga and the subsequent fall of one of the most well known SCF providers was disconcerting and brought up important questions about transparency and governance in the SCF industry.

As the SCF Community, we have worked at providing clarity about the level of transparency in the SCF market through our series of viewpoints post-Greensill. More recently, we have analysed disclosures in annual financial reports from large buyers around the world, studying information provided and matching them with public information about the scf programmes of these large buyers.

What has been revealed is a growing market, with an increasing number of buyers active in promoting SCF towards their suppliers. Regulations and stakeholders increase the overall level of transparency, however, it is also a market in which transparency is far from being the standard.

We are now ready to publish our results and share the viewpoints we have received from others that are actively associated with understanding and auditing the transparency and disclosure of large buyers around the world. If you are interested in this topic then join our OPEN WEBINAR on Thursday April 21st, from 16.00 to 17.00 CET
